1) my first car was a 1996 Cutlass Ciera Oldsmobile. Teal green. Column shifter. When I first got this car, I was 15. I am ashamed to say this, but at the time Beanie babies were all the rage and I took a few of them and put them in my back window.
2) Next was a 1992 Ford Probe. Black. This car had the cheesiest ugliest hubcaps that looked like bicycle spokes. One day I was going through the drive-thru at McDonald's and I hit the curb and lost one of the hubcaps. That made it even more ghetto.
3) My third car was a 1996 Chevy Cavalier. Green. Me and this car had our times. I drove this through college. Then it started overheating every 5 minutes and the car started to fall apart. While it was being worked on, I drove vehicle number 4.
4) An old stinkin Chevy pick-up truck. I love this truck actually. I felt really cool driving it. But it was a piece! The gas gage didn't work and the truck sucked gas so I had to get gas every 30 minutes to be sure I never ran out. One evening I went to a concert in Wilmington and we were coming back late. A friend was driving. He got in and the brights were automatically on. We tried to turn them off, but there was no switch or knob for them. People were honking at us and making mean gestures. The next day, I realized that my friend had gotten in and stepped on the button to turn the brights on/off....it was a button on the floor (under the mat)!!
6) when I graduated college and got my first job, my Cavalier had had enough. Fortunately, I was at a good point where I could get a new car. Here is what I currently drive: The Phat-Mobile: 2005 Mazda6 iHatch. Charcoal Gray. The picture was taken at the Blue Ridge parkway right after I bought it. The Phat-Mobile is awesome.
